Peter Stark is a British conductor.

Peter Stark trained in conducting at the Royal College of Music with Norman Del Mar and in Vienna with Sir Charles Mackerras.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Profile: Peter Stark )〕 He is currently a professor of conducting at the Royal College of Music〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Peter STARK )〕 and the Artistic Director of the West of England Philharmonic Orchestra and Parnassus.
During his career, he has conducted orchestras such as the National Children's Ochestra of Great Britain at the Royal Festival Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall in 2013. They performed a magnificent concert playing repertoire such as Stravinsky's firebird suite.London Symphony Orchestra, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the English Chamber Orchestra, and has worked alongside Pierre Boulez, Sir Colin Davis, Lord Menuhin, Sir Roger Norrington and Klaus Tennstedt.
Stark is also very active in music education. He is the rehearsal conductor for the European Union Youth Orchestra,〔http://www.nco.org.uk/about/press-release/the-nco-appoints-two-new-governors-peter-stark-and-simon-webb/〕 conductor-in-residence for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain,〔 and conducts orchestras ranging from the Hertfordshire County Youth Orchestra (principal conductor since 1994) to the New South Wales Youth Orchestra of Australia and the Derbyshire City and County Youth Orchestra.
